Getting Started

How do I set up Let's Go Games?

Visit letsgogames.co.uk and choose a plan. Once activated, log in on any device with a web browser, connect to a TV or projector, and you're ready to go. The whole process takes about 3-5 minutes.

How do I activate my licence key?

After purchasing, you'll receive a licence key by email. Go to the activation page, enter your key, and your account will be unlocked instantly. You only need to do this once per device.

What equipment do I need?

Any device with a modern web browser (laptop, tablet, or phone) plus a TV or projector for the audience view. No special hardware is required. For the best experience, connect via HDMI or use a Fire Stick with TV Connect.

How do I connect a TV?

You can connect via HDMI cable from your laptop, or use TV Connect on a Fire Stick or Smart TV. Just open letsgogames.co.uk/tv on your TV, enter the 6-character code shown on your host device, and the audience view appears instantly.

Phone Play

How do players join?

Players scan the QR code displayed on the big screen with their phone camera. It opens instantly in their browser - they just enter a display name and they're in. You can also share a join link directly. See the Phone Play page for more details.

Do players need to download an app?

No. Everything runs in the phone's web browser. Players scan the QR code, enter their name, and they're playing within seconds. No app store, no account creation, no downloads.

How many players can join at once?

There's no hard limit on the number of players. We've tested with hundreds of players joining simultaneously. The system is designed to handle busy venue nights without breaking a sweat.

What happens if a player loses connection?

Players automatically reconnect when their connection returns. Their progress and scores are preserved. The host and audience screens continue working even if individual players drop off temporarily.

Games

How do I run a Bingo night?

Launch the app, select Bingo, choose 90-ball or 75-ball format, and hit start. Players join on their phones to get virtual bingo cards. Numbers are called automatically with dramatic animations, and winners are verified instantly. Check the Bingo page for the full feature list.

How do I set up a Quiz?

Select Quiz from the game launcher, then choose from 16,000+ built-in questions or create your own with the AI question generator. Pick from 7 round types: Standard, Speed, Music, Picture, Wager, Pressure, and Estimation. Set team or individual play, enable Double Down wagering, and run live audience polls between rounds. At the end, a Player Awards ceremony crowns the night's standout performers. Learn more on the Quiz page.

How does Music Bingo work?

Pick one of 36 Spotify playlists, hit shuffle, and songs start playing. Players get bingo cards on their phones with song titles - they tap to mark them off as each song plays. Wins are auto-verified so there's no disputes. Visit the Music Bingo page for more.

How do I run Racing?

Choose Racing from the launcher and pick your race type - horses, dogs, pigs, or cars. Players place bets on their phones using the tote system, then watch the race unfold on the big screen with dramatic photo finishes. See the Racing page for details.

What are the mini-games?

Six quick games perfect for intervals: Heads or Tails, Higher or Lower, Spin the Wheel, Raffle Draw, Quick Quiz, and Last Standing. Most support phone play and take just a few minutes each. They're great for keeping energy up between main games.

How does game switching work?

Players scan one QR code at the start of the night and never need to rejoin. When you switch from one game to another (e.g. Quiz to Bingo), all connected screens - players, audience, and TV - automatically redirect to the new game. No re-scanning, no new codes. One session for the whole evening.

What is a Session PIN?

Session PIN is an optional 4-digit code you can set when creating a session. Players must enter the PIN to join, which prevents uninvited participants. It's ideal for corporate events, private parties, or any situation where you want to control who can play.

What are Player Awards?

At the end of a quiz, the Player Awards ceremony highlights standout performers with fun awards like Speed Demon (fastest answers), Comeback King (biggest score improvement), and Streak Master (longest winning streak). It adds a memorable finale to every quiz night.

What quiz round types are available?

Seven round types: Standard (classic Q&A), Speed (timed rapid-fire), Music (name that tune), Picture (visual questions), Wager (bet your points), Pressure (shrinking timer), and Estimation (closest answer wins). Mix and match to create the perfect quiz for your venue.

Troubleshooting

The game isn't loading

Try a hard refresh (Ctrl+Shift+R on PC, Cmd+Shift+R on Mac) to clear the cache. Make sure you're using a modern browser like Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge. If the issue persists, try clearing your browser cache or using an incognito window.

Players can't join

Check that players are on the same WiFi network or have mobile data. Ensure the session code or QR code is still active. If your venue's WiFi blocks certain ports, try switching players to mobile data. You can also share the join link directly via messaging apps.

Sound isn't working

Make sure your device volume is up and not muted. Browsers require a user interaction (click or tap) before playing audio - click anywhere on the game screen to enable sound. Also check that your TV or speaker is set to the correct input source.

TV display not showing

If using HDMI, check the cable connection and ensure your TV is on the correct input. If using TV Connect, make sure both devices are online and the 6-character code matches. Try refreshing the TV browser page. On Fire Stick, bookmark the TV Connect URL for quick access.
