Getting Started

What is Let's Go Games?

Let's Go Games is professional entertainment software for venues and events. One subscription covers 17 games: 9 main games (Bingo, Quiz, Music Bingo, Karaoke, Racing, Top Percent, Let's Go Poll, Let's Go Letters, Bank or Bust) and 8 mini-games, most with interactive phone play where your audience joins in on their own phones. Racing and Top Percent are included on Professional and Enterprise plans. No app download required.

What equipment do I need?

Any device with a web browser (laptop, tablet, or desktop) plus a TV or projector for your audience to see the game. That's it. No special hardware required.

Do I need to install anything?

No. Let's Go Games runs entirely in your web browser. There's no software to download, no plugins to install, and no app store involved.

How long does setup take?

A few minutes. Connect your device to a screen, log in, pick a game, and you're ready to go. If you can work a TV app, you can run this.

Do I need internet?

Only for initial activation. After that, the app works completely offline. Perfect for venues with unreliable WiFi.

Phone Play

How do players join?

Players scan a QR code displayed on the big screen with their phone camera. It opens instantly in their browser - no app download needed, no account required.

Which games support phone play?

13 games support phone play: Bingo, Quiz, Music Bingo, Karaoke, Racing, Top Percent, Let's Go Poll, Let's Go Letters, Heads or Tails, Higher or Lower, Quick Quiz, Last Standing, and Picture Round.

Do players need to create an account?

No. Players simply scan the QR code and enter a display name. That's it - they're in the game within seconds.

Games

What games are included?

17 games in total. 9 main games: Bingo, Quiz, Music Bingo, Karaoke, Racing, Top Percent, Let's Go Poll, Let's Go Letters, and Bank or Bust. Plus 8 mini-games: Heads or Tails, Higher or Lower, Spin the Wheel, Raffle Draw, Quick Quiz, Last Standing, Picture Round, and Chase the Joker. Racing and Top Percent are included on Professional and Enterprise plans, not add-ons.

What bingo formats are supported?

Both 90-ball (UK standard) and 75-ball (US standard) formats are fully supported.

Does Music Bingo need a music licence?

Music Bingo now plays curated music video playlists right inside the app, so everyone hears and sees the track. As with any music played publicly at a venue, hosts and venues are responsible for holding the appropriate music licences (such as PPL/PRS) for public performance. There are no audio files to manage and nothing extra to install.

Can I create custom quiz questions?

Yes! You can create questions using the built-in AI Question Generator, or import your own via CSV/JSON files. There are also 16,000+ built-in questions ready to use.

Themes & Customisation

How many themes are available?

5 visual themes are available in the Host App, and continuous updates are included in every subscription, so the library grows over time.

Can I add my own branding?

Yes. Every plan includes the Custom Images tool: upload your own logos, welcome banners, and sponsor strips and they display as a full-screen audience slideshow. A venue can keep a sponsor's name on the big screen all night.

Pricing

How much does it cost?

From £34.99 + VAT (£41.99 inc VAT) a month for Classic (Bingo, Quiz, Music Bingo and Let's Go Poll + all 8 mini-games) or £59.99 + VAT (£71.99 inc VAT) for Professional (all 17 games). For a one-off there is a £6.99 Home Pass, 24 hours at home for up to 25 players, and a £19.99 + VAT (£23.99 inc VAT) Event Pass, 48 hours at a venue or business event with no player limit. Both passes include every game. Business plans are shown ex-VAT, the Home Pass includes VAT. Early access pricing is on now; prices rise once we are established, and anyone already signed up keeps the rate they joined at.

Classic and Professional can also be billed yearly, at 12 months for the price of 10. See pricing for the yearly figures.

Do I need a music licence to run music bingo or karaoke?

Almost certainly yes, and it is separate from your Let's Go Games subscription. Playing recorded music in public normally needs TheMusicLicence from PPL PRS Ltd, and karaoke and music quizzes are usually charged as featured music sessions rather than background music. We do not include, replace or exempt you from it.

Most pubs and clubs already hold the licence. Check whether yours covers featured sessions before starting a weekly night. Our plain-English guide explains what to ask.

Is it legal to run bingo or a race night in my venue?

Yes, within limits set by the Gambling Commission. Pub bingo has a maximum stake of £5 per person per game, no participation fee, adults only, and needs an operating licence if combined stakes or prizes pass £2,000 in any seven days. Race nights are lawful as non-commercial events run for a good cause, not as a for-profit betting operation.

Let's Go Games moves no money at any point. Racing records the host's intent and calculates the tote; no stake or payout passes through the platform. Compliance is the venue's responsibility. Read the guide.

What happens if the WiFi drops?

The Host App keeps working after activation, so the game on the big screen does not stop. Players' phones do need internet, and if the connection wobbles they fall back to polling the session every 60 seconds instead of a live connection, so play continues a little less instantly rather than stopping.

Every phone shows a connection indicator: green means live, amber means it has fallen back to polling. If the venue WiFi is genuinely unreliable, players can use mobile data instead, or you can run a big-screen-only game or a Paper Play quiz, which need no player internet at all.

Is there a free trial?

There is no free trial, and we are not pretending the demo is one. What there is is a demo you can play right now, free, with no sign up and nothing to install: real games on the real audience screen, with your phone as a player. We ask for your details once, when you start your first game, so we know who has tried it.

If you want to run a real night for real people before subscribing, the Event Pass is £19.99 + VAT (£23.99 inc VAT) for 48 hours, with commercial use permitted.

Try the Demo

Can I see a demo before I buy?

Yes. Book the Try the Demo and we run a real session with you on a call, showing the audience screen, the host controls, and phone play you can join from your own phone. No card, no commitment.

Do you offer charity discounts?

Yes. We offer 50% off for registered charities, applied by our team rather than at checkout. Email info@letsgogames.co.uk with proof of your charity registration and we'll set you up.

Billing & Subscription

When am I charged?

The first charge happens immediately when you subscribe. After that, monthly plans renew on the same day each month, and annual plans (when launched) renew on the same day each year. The Home Pass (£6.99, 24 hours) and the Event Pass (£19.99 + VAT, 48 hours) are single charges with no renewal.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Visit letsgogames.co.uk/account, log in with your email, tap Manage Subscription, then Cancel Plan. Two clicks. You keep access until the end of your current billing period. No cancellation fees. See the step-by-step guide.

How do I upgrade or downgrade my plan?

In the billing portal at letsgogames.co.uk/account, tap Update plan and pick the new plan. Upgrades are pro-rated and take effect immediately. Downgrades apply at the next renewal. See the upgrade guide.

How do I update my payment method?

In the billing portal at letsgogames.co.uk/account, tap Update payment method. Add a new card or remove an old one. The next renewal will charge the new card.

Where do I find my invoices?

Every past invoice is in the billing portal at letsgogames.co.uk/account. Tap an invoice to download a PDF. Stripe also emails an invoice receipt for every charge.

Can I get a refund?

Yes. We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on the first payment, monthly or annual, for first-time subscribers. The 24-Hour Home Pass is non-refundable once activated. Full details in our terms and refund policy.

What happens if my payment fails?

Stripe will retry the charge a few times automatically over the next several days. While retries are in flight, your licence stays active with a "payment failed" warning. Update your card in the billing portal at any time to clear the warning. If Stripe can't get a successful charge after the retry window, the licence moves to "subscription ended" and you'll need to resubscribe.

How do I manage my licence on multiple devices?

Each plan has a device limit. Activate your licence on each host device by entering the same key. To see and manage activated devices, log in at letsgogames.co.uk/account. Remove old devices you no longer use to free up slots. If you hit the limit and need more, see licence troubleshooting.

Account & Support

How do I get support?

Email info@letsgogames.co.uk. We respond by the next UK business day (Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm UK time). For most questions, the Help Centre already has the answer - it's worth a quick look first.

What's the support response time?

Next UK business day. Emails received outside Monday-Friday 9am-5pm UK time are replied to the next working day. Urgent payment issues and data-loss claims are triaged first; general questions follow.

Can I add a teammate to my account?

Today, accounts are licensed per venue or organisation rather than per individual user. Multiple staff members can use the same licence key on the host device. Multi-user accounts with separate logins are on the roadmap. If you need this today, email info@letsgogames.co.uk and we'll discuss.

Technical

What browsers are supported?

All modern browsers are supported: Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, and Microsoft Edge. We recommend keeping your browser up to date for the best experience.

What about accessibility?

Accessibility is built in. The Host App ships with 44px minimum touch targets for mobile, full keyboard shortcuts for hosts, and WCAG AA contrast on customer-facing screens. Status indicators pair colour with icons and text.

Do I need special equipment?

No special hardware needed. The host screen runs in any web browser on a laptop, tablet, or phone. Connect to a TV or projector for the audience display. Players join on their own phones. Works on Android, iPhone, PC, Mac, and tablets.

What happens if my WiFi goes down mid-game?

The host and audience screens work offline after the initial load. Players on phones will reconnect automatically when the connection returns. Your game night keeps going.

Data & Privacy

Is my customers' data safe?

We take data security seriously. Player data is stored securely on encrypted servers. We never sell or share personal information. Players only need to enter a name to play - no account creation required. See our privacy policy for full details.

Running Your Events

Can multiple staff members run it?

Yes. Any staff member or volunteer can run a session after about ten minutes of training. If they can work a TV app, they can use this. Every plan comes with a device allowance, and you can manage activated devices from your account.

Can I use this for corporate events and private hire?

Absolutely. The platform suits team building events, seasonal parties, wedding entertainment, charity fundraisers, and private functions. A Session PIN lets you lock a private event to invited players only.
