Why Venues Love Let's Go Karaoke

No karaoke machine. No song library to buy. Just a screen, a microphone, and a queue of people who suddenly want to sing.

Built-In YouTube Karaoke Search

Type a song name and we find the best karaoke version in seconds. Our ranking algorithm prefers genuine karaoke channels (Sing King, KaraFun, Zoom Karaoke, Stingray) over music videos and covers. Auto-suggests for every player-submitted song.

Audience-as-Judges Scoring

Five fun dimensions: song choice, performance, vocals, stage presence, wow factor. Players tap stars on their phones. The room decides who wins. Way more engaging than a single host judge.

Phone Play - No App Download

Players scan a QR code to join. From their phone they queue up to sing, vote, send reactions, stand for a brilliant performance, or fire a hype boost. Fast, fun, and works on every modern phone.

Karaoke Winners Podium

End-of-night ceremony: gold, silver, bronze podium with photos, scores, and the winning song. Confetti, gradient banners, and a full reveal so the room cheers their top performer.

Host-Controlled Play / Pause

The audience screen sits on the "Stand by" overlay until the host taps Play. Tap once when the singer is at the mic, tap again to pause. Total control of pacing - no rogue auto-play moments.

Choose Where Audio Plays

Host device, audience TV, or both. Plug your phone into the venue speakers (default) or let the TV do the work. Saved per device so you set it once and forget it.

Favourite Songs (Host)

Got a regular host who sings? They can star their go-to songs on the host screen and re-queue them in one tap next time. Per-device favourites that survive every session.

Singer Photos on the Podium

Players can upload a photo when they join. Photos appear next to their name in the queue and on the Karaoke Winners podium. Adds a personal touch that gets cheers from the crowd.

Big Screen Lyric Monitor

The audience screen becomes a room-sized lyric monitor (up to 1700px wide). Karaoke video fills 90% of the viewport so singers can read lyrics from anywhere in the venue.

Five Scoring Dimensions

Karaoke is more than vocals. The whole room decides who owned the stage.

Song Choice · Performance · Vocals

The classic three: did they pick a banger, did they bring the energy, did they actually hit the notes. Five stars per dimension, scored from every phone in the room.

Stage Presence

Confidence, charisma, the way they own the mic, even when the vocals wobble. Singers who go for it get rewarded.

Wow Factor

The unforgettable moment. Did they make the room stop and cheer? A flawless rap break, an unexpected high note, a costume reveal. This is where legends are made.

A singer signs up for Wonderwall from their phone. The host taps their name, the built-in search finds the best karaoke version in a second, and the big screen takes over the room. Every phone lights up with five stars on five dimensions. Six songs later, the big screen reveals the Karaoke Winners podium and the room loses it.

Powered by YouTube

No karaoke library to buy. No MIDI files to manage. Type a song, get the best karaoke version on YouTube, play it on the big screen, off you go. Our scoring algorithm prefers real karaoke channels (Sing King, KaraFun, Zoom Karaoke, Stingray) over the music video.

YouTube karaoke videos are streamed from third-party channels. Hosts and venues are responsible for holding appropriate music licences (such as PPL/PRS) for any public performance of music.

Common Questions

How does Let's Go Karaoke work?

Singers add themselves to the queue from their phones, choosing any song they like. The host picks a YouTube karaoke version (one tap thanks to our built-in search). When the song starts, the audience scores the performance on five dimensions using their phones. At the end of the night, the big screen reveals the Karaoke Winners podium.

Do I need to provide karaoke videos?

No. Let's Go Karaoke has a built-in YouTube karaoke search that finds the best karaoke version of any song in seconds. Players type a song name on their phone or the host searches directly. Our ranking algorithm prefers true karaoke versions over music videos and covers.

Can the host sing too?

Yes. The host has a one-tap 'Search YouTube' button on the host screen, with a favourites list for songs the host sings regularly. Stars saved on the device for easy re-queueing.

Can I buy Karaoke today?

Not yet. Karaoke is in final testing and is coming soon for new customers. Register your interest and we will tell you when it opens. Today, Classic, the Home Pass and the Event Pass include Bingo, Quiz, Music Bingo, Let's Go Poll, Higher or Lower and Heads or Tails.

Do players need an app?

No app download. Players scan a QR code or visit a short URL to join, then use their phone browser. Works on every modern phone.

Playing music in public needs TheMusicLicence from PPL PRS, whatever software you use. What that means for your venue.
