How to Run a Quiz

Host a professional quiz night with 16,000+ questions and 7 round types.

Select Quiz and Choose Your Mode

From the game launcher, select Quiz. Choose Team Mode (great for pubs) or Individual Mode (everyone for themselves).

Pick Your Questions

Choose from 16,000+ built-in questions across dozens of categories, or use the AI question generator to create custom questions on any topic. You can also paste your own.

Players Join on Their Phones

Players scan the QR code on the audience screen. They enter their name (or team name) and see "YOU'RE IN!" on their phone. All answers and scores update instantly.

Run Your Rounds

Press N (desktop) or tap Next Question (mobile) to show each question. The audience screen displays the question and options. Players answer on their phones.

Mix up your round types: Standard, Speed, Music, Picture, Wager, Pressure, and Estimation.

Reveal Answers and Scores

Click Reveal Answer to show the correct answer on screen. Scores update automatically. The leaderboard shows between rounds so everyone can see where they stand.

End with Player Awards

When the quiz finishes, the Player Awards ceremony highlights standout players: Speed Demon (fastest answers), Comeback King (biggest improvement), Streak Master (longest winning streak), and more.

Pro Tips

  • Use Double Down to let players wager points on confidence - adds drama
  • Run Pressure Rounds with shrinking timers for nail-biting tension
  • Add Live Polls between rounds to keep the audience engaged
  • Estimation Rounds (closest answer wins) are great for variety
  • The audience screen shows an answer race counter ("3 of 8 answered") to build excitement
