One Session Code, All Evening: How Game Switching Works
One Session Code, All Evening: How Game Switching Works
The best game nights are not just one game. They are bingo followed by a quiz, then music bingo, with mini-games in between. But getting 50 players to rejoin every time you switch games? That used to be a nightmare.
One Code for the Whole Evening
With Let's Go Games, you create one session code at the start of the night. Players scan the QR code once and they are connected for everything. When you switch from bingo to quiz, every screen in the venue updates automatically.
How It Works
- Start your first game (say, Bingo). Share the QR code.
- Players join on their phones. Play bingo.
- When bingo finishes, tap Home on your host screen.
- Pick your next game (say, Quiz). The same session code carries over.
- Every player phone, every audience screen, and every TV automatically redirects to the quiz.
What the Players See
When you switch games, players see a brief "Next game starting soon" screen with a spinner. Within seconds, they are loaded into the new game. No new QR code, no re-entering names, no confusion.
What the TV Shows
The audience view detects the game type change via real-time polling and redirects to the correct display. If you had bingo numbers on the TV, it switches to the quiz leaderboard. If you had quiz scores showing, it switches to the music bingo song board.
Plan Your Multi-Game Night
A typical evening might look like: Bingo (30 min) then Heads or Tails (5 min interval game) then Quiz (45 min) then Music Bingo (30 min). All from one phone, one session code, one seamless experience.
