How to Run Music Bingo

36 curated playlists, phone play bingo cards, and auto-verified wins.

1

Select Music Bingo

From the game launcher, select Music Bingo. You'll see the playlist selection screen.

2

Pick a Playlist

Choose from 36 curated playlists across genres and decades: 80s Hits, 90s Pop, Rock Anthems, Christmas Classics, and more. Each playlist has enough songs for a full game.

The picker is grouped so you can find the right vibe in seconds: Decades, Seasonal, Collections and Genres. Star a playlist to keep it in My Playlists for next time. The catalogue is checked every week so the videos stay live.

3

Players Join and Get Cards

Players scan the QR code and join on their phones. Each player receives a unique bingo card with song titles from the playlist. Everyone has a different card.

4

Play Songs - They Auto-Mark

Press play in the host app and the music video streams on screen for everyone to see. Each song marks off the moment it starts playing, so players see their card update in real time. The audience screen shows the current song and a live song board.

The audience video mirrors your host screen exactly. If you pause, the audience pauses. If you skip or scrub along the track, the audience follows and stays in sync, the same way Karaoke works.

Let each song play for 15-20 seconds so players have time to recognise it.

5

Handle Wins

When a player completes a line or full house, their phone sends a claim to the host. Wins are auto-verified so there's no disputes or checking cards manually.

6

Choose the Audience View and Use the Song Board

From the host you can switch the audience screen between three views at any time:

  • Video - a clean full screen music video, nothing else
  • Split - the video plus the full song board so the room can follow along
  • Card - the full song board on its own

On the host, the song list is sorted alphabetically so you can find any track fast, and a Show played only toggle filters the list down to what has already played, handy for checking a claim or seeing where you are.

Pro Tips

  • Theme your music bingo to match the night - 80s night, Christmas party, decades night
  • Play songs long enough for recognition but not so long it drags
  • Mix easy and hard songs - a few deep cuts keep it interesting
  • The audience song board shows all songs so everyone can follow along on the big screen
