TV Connect: How to Get Games on Your Big Screen in 60 Seconds
TV Connect: How to Get Games on Your Big Screen in 60 Seconds
Your audience needs a big screen. Whether it is a 55-inch TV behind the bar, a projector in the function room, or a Fire Stick plugged into the lounge telly, getting Let's Go Games on the screen takes about 60 seconds.
The Setup (Do This Once)
On your TV, Fire Stick, or any device connected to a screen, open a web browser and go to letsgogames.co.uk/tv. Bookmark this page. That is it for setup. You will never need to install anything or download an app.
On Game Night
Open the bookmarked page. You will see a screen asking for a 6-character code. On your phone (the host device), tap the session code badge at the top. It shows your code. Type it into the TV and press Connect. The TV now shows whatever game you are running.
Works with Everything
- Fire Stick: Use the Silk or Firefox browser
- Smart TV: Use the built-in web browser
- Chromecast: Cast a Chrome tab from a laptop
- Projector: Connect a laptop and open the TV page
- iPad/Tablet: Open Safari and go fullscreen
Multiple Screens
You can connect as many screens as you like with the same code. Some venues have a TV in the bar showing the bingo board and another in the lounge showing the same game. They all stay in sync automatically.
No WiFi? No Problem
The host phone and TV just need to be on the internet. They do not need to be on the same WiFi network. The host phone can use mobile data while the TV uses the venue WiFi. Everything syncs through the cloud.
