Uploading Custom Music for Quiz Music Rounds

Build your own music round library. Upload mp3, m4a, or wav tracks and they save to your licence.

1

Open the Music Library

In the Host App, open Settings from the main menu, then tap Music Library. This opens your personal track library.

2

Add Tracks

Tap Upload and pick mp3, m4a, or wav files from your device. You can upload one at a time or select multiple. Each track shows a title field, artist field, and preview button.

Tracks live on your licence in secure cloud storage, so they appear on every device you log into. Upload from your laptop, play from your phone the next night.

3

Use a Track in a Music Round

When you're setting up a Quiz, add a Music Round. Pick from your uploaded library by tapping the track name field. Set the question (e.g. "What's the song?" or "What's the artist?") and the answer.

4

Play the Round

When the round runs, audio plays through your host device only - so plug your phone or laptop into the venue PA, or hold it near a speaker. The audience screen shows the round name and timer; players answer on their phones or paper.

Pro Tips

  • Edit the track title and artist to make question/answer setup obvious. Files named "01 Track" don't help.
  • Trim tracks before upload if you only want a 20 second clip. The Music Library plays the file from start.
  • Stick to popular formats. mp3 320kbps works on every device. Some browsers struggle with rare codecs.
  • Custom music requires a Professional plan or higher and a feature flag rollout. If you don't see the option, contact support.
